Prizes totalling £125 were won in the August 2024 Draw and with a boost from generous winners the Community Fund now stands at £338. Join before the end of the month for your chance to be one of the next winners while supporting your local community!
The 50/50 Community Fund is a non profit scheme organised and run by Marple Carnival.
It’s a fun way of having a little flutter whilst supporting many groups in your local community.
Here's how it works..
You pay £5 per month subscription, which buys you a member number that enters you into the monthly draw.
50% of all subscriptions goes into the monthly draw.
*Based on 100 members each paying £5/month, the monthly prizes would be:
1st Prize £125 - 2nd Prize £75 - 3rd Prize £50
The remaining 50% of the fund will be donated to varying local good causes within Marple, Marple Bridge, Compstall, and Mellor.

August 2024 Winners!
Congratulations to the August winners of the 50 50 club prize draw.
Numbers were drawn in the Railway pub by Rose of the Talking Tables Group.
- 1st prize was £62.50. The winner wishes to remain anonymous, but very kindly donated the winnings back to the Community Fund.
- 2nd prize was £37.50, won by Janet Dunn.
- 3rd prize was £25, won by Michelle Callaghan, who very kindly also donated her winnings back to the Community Fund.
The Community Fund currently stands at £338.

July 2024 Winners!
Congratulations to the winners of the first Marple Carnival 50 50 Community Fund draw.
- The first prize was £62.50 won by a lovely lady called Ann Lally.
- Julian Revington won the second prize of £37.50, and kindly put £7.50 back into the Community Fund pot.
Nice one Julian, it's much appreciated. - Simon Ashton was the third lucky winner with £25 prize.
