A year of success for Marple Carnival 50-50 Club!
Saturday 21st June should have been Marple Carnival Day but unfortunately not this year, in 2025, due to the new Community Hub that is being built in Memorial Park. Apart from the Carnival being a great fun day for everybody, the money collected during the Carnival Parade is always used to support local community groups - funds that would have been sorely missed by many of them this year.
Thankfully however, in July 2024 we launched the Marple Carnival 50-50 Community Fund. Over the last 12 months this has enabled us to continue supporting many local groups with monthly donations. On what would have been Carnival Day 2025 we were delighted to round off the first year by donating £180 to New Horizons to help 'keep them afloat' from the 50-50 Club Fund.

Other groups that have benefitted since last July are: Mellor Country House, Friends of Etherow Park, Dragon Miniature Railway, The Garden House, Friends of Chadkirk Chapel, Marple Dementia Drop In, Art Stop CIC, Autisk, Compstall Cricket Club, Marple Men in Sheds and Marple Bridge Association. The total donated in the year is a fantastic £1955! See below for more details.
Being a member of the 50-50 club gives you the chance to win some money in our monthly draw as well as helping to support many local groups with much needed funds. Please visit our 50-50 Club Page for information about how it works and how to sign up.
